The Relais du Château de la Roche is situated an hour’s drive away from Lyon, Saint Etienne, Vichy and from Clermont Ferrand.

It is close to Roanne, on the banks of the River Loire, and overlooks the historic site of the Château de la Roche.

Some magnificent medieval villages are nestled in the region surrounding the town of Roanne, which are host to Romanesque churches, and a history intimately connected to the river Loire.
